SKIRTFAST panels are manufactured in rot proof GRP. (Glass Reinforced Plastic), and simulate natural materials
to an incredible degree of realism. They provide the ideal solution to those persistent skirting problems which occur when trying to eliminate
the unsightly and thermally inefficient gap beneath typical Park Home installations and caravan skirting.

Normal good quality caravan and park home skirting methods, using
Stone, Brick, Block and Render etc., are all reasonably satisfactory when
completed, but they do present a number of severe practical problems at
the building stage which are often frustrating and are always time consuming,
expensive and messy. Also, such methods have to make use of heavy and
cumbersome materials, they can not be carried out in bad weather and,
invariably, they require several days of work by skilled and expensive
Tradesmen.. |

On the other hand, Skirtfast panels can be installed
quickly and easily, even by the non professional. They neatly eliminate
most of the difficulties associated with old fashioned methods, while
the final visual effect is identical, at about half the cost, but they
can still be taken down and erected again without difficulty for access,
maintenance or relocation purposes.
Furthermore, many longer term problems can also be avoided
by using Skirtfast. e.g. Cracks sometimes appear in real walls due to
settlement, especially of the concrete base on a newly constructed site,
or due to movement resulting from thermal expansion. Real bricks and stonework
often suffer from frost and weather erosion, rising damp, or damage from
plant growth. Also, painted walls need periodic repainting, and matching
panels can not be used to disguise inspection hatches etc, if normal materials
are used. |
